Meter FM - Regional Training Net Schedule
Fellow
hams,
Effective
Monday, March 8, 2010, the 2 meter Nets will be reorganized...
The
Union and Richland parish Nets will cease to exist as separate
Nets but will be combined with the Ouachita Parish ARES
Net that starts at 6:30 p.m. This Net will be renamed the
NELA-ARES District Net...Instead of using the 146.850 frequency,
it will be moved to the 147.015 machine in Riverton...
The
NELA-ARES simplex net will immediately follow the NELA-ARES
District Net on 146.550 as usual... This project has been
discussed frequently over a period of time, not only at
the Club meetings, but individually and the majority of
hams that check into these Nets feel that it is the thing
to do... The Emergency Coordinators of the parishes involved
have all agreed to this proposition... As District Emergency
Coordinator, this plans meets all the requirements in the
ARRL ARES guidelines... If anyone has any comments or questions,
please fell free to contact myself, Carlos, Bob or Kevin....
To
reiterate, the schedule is as follows: Monday 6:30 P.M.
