Please
send any announcements or changes to: info @ ares-nela.org
If
you are the scheduled NCS and know you will be unable to
serve on your night, please attempt to contact the backup
and let him/her know. Back-up NCS are expected to monitor,
and be able to pick the net up in case Primary is unavailable/
unable to handle net duties that night.
Please
note: weekly ARES net reports should be sent to the respective
Emergency Coordinator for that parish.
Calling a net is an excellent opportunity to expand your
operating skills and we encourage you to take part in doing
so. If you would like to be a NCS for one of the local nets,
send and e-mail to:
info @ ares-nela.org
or contact: David S. Gore, W5DSG
