Hours:

will open to the public at 8:00 a.m. Saturday and run through
mid afternoon.

Friday, April 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Gary Stratton, K5GLS along with Section Emergency Coordinator,
Jim Coleman, AI5B and other section and league officials
for a discussion on the latest ARRL news and activities
including updates on ARES and NTS.

"Hands
on" with Radio:
- The
Northeast Louisiana ARES Mobile Communications Van will
be on site for anyone wanting to operate HF. If you are
new to ham radio or interested in getting a license and
want to make a contact this will be a perfect opportunity
to try it out.
D-Star
Demonstration:
- Learn
more about what D-Star is and ask questions. The W5SHV D-Star
Team will be on site to demonstrate the latest D-Star radio
gear.
Linux
Demonstration:
- Learn
more about the Linux. The Monroe Linux Group will have a
booth to demonstrate what the Linux buzz is all about.
Test
Bench:
- Want
to make sure that radio works before you buy ? We will have
a test bench available to help you out.

* We have plenty of FREE car parking, but a limited number
of RV & trailer hookups, for which the facility charges
$16 per night.
